By Lori Copler
Except for a few finishing touches and staff training, the new TrueValue Fleet Supply, located in the former Coborn's building, is set to open.
A grand opening is set for Friday, Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21, with free sandwiches and prizes.
The new business is owned by Bob Tomsche of Sauk Centre, who also owns stores in Sauk Centre, Paynesville, Little Falls and Glenwood.
Bob Tomsche's son, Mike, is a project manager for the chain of stores and was on hand Monday for a ribbon cutting.
Also there was new store manager Dean Lind of Norwood Young America, who has 22 years of experience in the business.
"I come from another TrueValue store," said Lind.
At 21,000 square feet, the store is slightly larger than the other stores owned by the family, Mike Tomsche said.
