A Carver County sheriff’s deputy was seriously injured in a two-car crash Thursday shortly after 9 p.m., had to be extricated from his squad, and was airlifted to a medical facility.
Deputy Erick Boder, a 10-year veteran, was patrolling in Carver and traveling northbound on CSAH 11, just south of Fourth Street, when a southbound vehicle driven by Jason Horowitz, 46, of Carver, crossed the center line and collided head on with the squad car.
