Remember, honor veterans on Nov. 11

To the Editor:
Veterans Day, honoring the dead by helping the living, is fulfilled every day by Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) members throughout the nation.
The VFW hopes that through its members’ actions, all U.S. citizens will take time to ponder how veterans have contributed to the nation. When one looks at rows of white crosses in a military cemetery, it is obvious.
The nation is full of veterans who are still with us. They continue to actively serve the country they loved.
Remember them on Nov. 11.
