Delbert E. Knuth, 86, of Glencoe, entered eternal life on June 3, 2015, at Senior Class Care in Nisswa.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, June 9, at the Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe.

Patrick William Maiers, 74, of Willmar

Patrick “Pat”  William Maiers, 74, of Willmar, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at St. Cloud Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, June 6, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar, with burial in the church cemetery.

Barbara Klein, 67, of Enid, Okla.

Barbara Klein, 67, of Enid, Okla., died May 29, 2015, in Enid.
A private funeral service was held at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home  chapel in Enid, followed by cremation.
Barbara Klein was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Henry and Rachel Hites. She was raised and educated in Lynnville-Sully, Iowa, and attended Grinnell High School.

Gene John Hormann, 67, of Glencoe

Gene John Hormann, 67, of Glencoe, died Friday, May 29, 2015, at his home.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 5, at First Evangelical  Lutheran Church in Glencoe. The Rev. Daniel Welch officiated. Dawn Wolter was the organist. Soloist Justin Rierson sang “The Lord’s My Shepherd.” Congregational hymns were “I Know That My Redeemer Lives” and “Abide With Me.”

Sibley County 4-H sets day camps

Numerous summer day camps will be provided during June and July by the Sibley County 4-H Program. Each camp includes exciting and active learning opportunities for youths in kindergarten through fifth grade. You do not need to be a 4-H member to participate. Following is a list of the camps being offered:

Ervin scholarship awardees announced

The 2015 recipients of the Delores M. Ervin scholarship have been announced.
They are Miranda Sweely, daughter of David and Nancy Sweely of rural Stewart, and Lauren Schulze, daughter of Troy and Patty Schulze of Stewart.
Sweely attends the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and is pursuing a nursing degree; Schulze is a 2015 graduate of Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart High School and plans to attend the University of Minnesota, where she will major in psychiatry.
