Ober earns Summit League honors

Glencoe-Silver Lake alumna Clarissa Ober was one of five members of the South Dakota State University women’s basketball team to earn All-Summit League honors, which were announced on Thursday, March 3.

Ober, a junior center for the Jackrabbits, also became the first Jackrabbit to earn Summit League Defensive Player of the Year.

She finished the league season second in blocks per game (2.3) and blocks (33), while also ranking fifth in rebounds (8.3), including fifth in defensive rebounds (5.5) per game.
