2 accidents reported in Sibley County

A Mayer man escaped without injury after a one-vehicle crash near Henderson Tuesday, Feb. 21. The crash was reported just before 10 a.m.
According to the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, Dustin Edminson, 21, of Mayer, was driving a 2005 Buick Rendezvous eastbound on 335th Avenue near Scenic Byway Road, about 21⁄2 miles north of Henderson, when he lost control on the frost-covered road, entered the south ditch, and struck several small trees.

Two injured in one-vehicle accident

Two people were transported to the Renville County Hospital to be assessed for injuries after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday, Feb. 21, just before 9 p.m., in Renville County.

Terry Buska, 63, of Glencoe

Terry Buska, 63, of Glencoe, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 25, at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe with the Rev. Katherine Rood officiating. Twyla Kirkeby was the pianist. Special music by Holly Dunn was “Daddy’s Hands.” Congregational hymns were “On Eagle’s Wings,” “You Are Mine” and “I, the Lord of Sea and Sky.”
A celebration of life was held after the service at the Glencoe VFW Club.

Loren Roepke, 70, of Cokato

Loren Roepke, 70, of Cokato, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at his home.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Feb. 23, at Cokato Manor in Cokato. with interment Monday, Feb. 27, at Fort Snelling.
