Stewart woman, Hector man hurt in accident

Norma Ann Syverson, 86, of Stewart, and James Oliver Schafer, 81, of Hector, were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 7 on the east edge of Hutchinson today (Saturday) at about 2:10 p.m.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Syverson was driving a 2002 Chrysler Sebring out of a parking lot to turn westbound onto Highway 7 when it collided with an eastbound 2010 Ford pickup driven by Taylor Jade Niece, 21, of Hutchinson.
