Dean Beety from MidCountry Bank represents the house at 114 3rd Ave North. After communications with council, it was agreed upon that the house will be razed.
The property at 204 1st Avenue South has been sold to a buyer who is planning to repair the house. The Order for Repair previously served the owners of the house will be served again to the new owners. Permits and inspections will be granted as necessary by the City Inspector to keep the new owner on task.

Post 5102 takes third in Hutch tourney

With two wins out of three games, the Glencoe VFW Post 5102 baseball team claimed third place in the Hutchinson VFW Tournament last weekend.

Glencoe opened tourney play with an 8-1 defeat of Hector, with starting pitcher Chandler Glaeser earning the victory with six innings of seven-strikeout, three-hit ball.

Glaeser also went 3-for-3 at the plate, as did Ty Christensen; Christensen had two RBI, with Glaeser knocking in one run. Preston Sturges went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
