Renee Henning, 80, of Plato passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, 1 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plato, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, noon to 1 p.m., one hour before the service at the church.

MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBER WAGES

AND ORDINANCE SETTING ANNUAL WAGES AND MEETING WAGES FOR THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS

THE CITY COUNCIL OF STEWART ORDAINS:

SECTION 1: ANNUAL WAGES
The annual salary for the City Mayor shall be increased to $1500.00 per year and a City Council Member shall be increased to $900.00 per year.

SECTION 2: MEETING WAGES
In addition to the annual salaries paid, the Mayor and each Council Member shall receive $50.00 for each regular meeting and/or special meeting attended.
