Officials urge caution around Swan Lake

The McLeod County Sheriff's Office is advising people to stay away from the boat landing area in Swan Lake Park on the north edge of the lake.
A drain tile has apparently broken or shifted on the north edge of the lake, causing a swirling eddy as the lake drains. Officials are out there today (Thursday) hoping to find a solution for the problem.
"For your safety, please do not unload your boats, swim, wade or walk near the area as the ground may be washing away," the sheriff's office said in a press release.
