Audrey Stenzel, 89, of Winthrop

Audrey Stenzel, 89, of Winthrop, passed away Saturday, July 28th at Southview Living Center in Gibbon. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 8th, 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bismarck Township, Sibley County with interment in the church cemetery.

Section 1. Section 2.5 of the Silver Lake Municipal Zoning Code shall be amended as follows:

2.51 Applicability.
The provisions of this chapter shall apply to multi-unit housing complexes used, or designed or intended to be let for human habitation.

Glencoe City Center on track for busiest year yet

The Glencoe City Center is on the way to having its busiest year since the center opened, including 27 weddings booked in 2018, according to Dan Ehrke, assistant city administrator. Ehrke gave a report at Monday afternoon’s City Council workshop.

Phillips give birth to son
Brody Adam Phillips, 4 pounds, 14 ounces and 19.25 inches in length, was born to Jolene and Michael Phillips of Glencoe.

Girl born to Schuermans

Jillian Lynn Schuerman was born to Erin and Ben Schuerman of Hutchinson. Born on July 17, She weighed 8 pounds, 0 ounces and is 20 inches in length.

Timothy (Tim) John Pinske, 71, of Plato

Timothy “Tim” John Pinske, 71, of Plato, after a short battle of Lewy Body Dementia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, July 24 at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, with the Reverends Anthony Stubeda and Paul Schumacher officiating. Sue Mielke was the pianist. Teresa Kuester was the song leader. Special music was provided by Cathie Hueser and Jack Noennig. Urn bearers were Mr. Pinske’s grandchildren.
Interment followed at the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery in Glencoe.
