Isabel Marie Karg, 21, of Glencoe passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, 11:30 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Minnetonka with interment at the First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Glencoe.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4, 4-8 p.m., at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe and will continue one hour before the service at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Minnetonka Wednesday.

Loretta Ide, 97, of Glencoe passed away Saturday, Aug. 25 at her home at Orchard Estates in Glencoe.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Aug. 31, 3 p.m., at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe with interment follwing at the Glencoe Cathorlic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday Aug. 31, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by husband, Duane; children, Seth (Rachel), Becca, Chris, Tamsen, Sam and Danielle (Tanner); grandchildren, Julian, Noah and Abby and their father, Jeremy; siblings, Gene, Bob, Mary and Matt; many other nieces, nephews and friends.

GSL boys’ CC runs to win at NYA

Small in number, but big in quality, the Glencoe-Silver Lake boys’ cross-country team opened the 2018 season by eking out a victory over host Central in the Norwood Young America Alumni meet on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Baylor Park.
In the traditional season opener, GSL claimed four of the top six individual placements in the three-team meet, which also included Maple Lake/Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity, earning the victory with 31 points to 39 for the Raiders.
