Sylvan L. Becker, 80, of Glencoe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, at Glencoe Regional Health in Glencoe.
A gathering of family and friends was held Friday, Sept. 9, 4 to 7 p.m., at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
Pastor Daniel Welch was the officiating clergy.


Dolores Beich, 92, of Glencoe

Dolores M. (Lhotka) Beich, 92, of Glencoe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, Sept. 9, 11 a.m., at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, with interment at the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery in Glencoe.
A gathering of family and friends was held Thursday, Sept. 8, 4 to 7 p.m., at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, and continued one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A prayer service was held Thursday, Sept. 8, 6:30 p.m., at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe.

Ruth D. Dose, 91, of Glencoe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, at her home in Glencoe.
A private, family graveside service was held Sunday, Sept. 11, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Glencoe.
A gathering of family and friends was held Sunday, Sept. 11, 1 to 2 p.m., at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe.
Pastor Daniel Welch was the officiating clergy.
Ruth’s granddaughter, soloist Jenna Case, performed “In The Garden” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”
Ruth’s great-grandchildren performed, “Jesus Loves Me” as special music for the ceremony.


Rev. Ronald Ziemer, 77, of Detroit Lakes

Chaplain Rev. Ronald “Ron” Lee Ziemer, 77, of Detroit Lakes, formerly of Lester Prairie, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, at his home with his spouse, Lin, at his bedside after fighting a courageous and brave battle with dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2 p.m., at Prairie Community Church in Lester Prairie, with interment held at a later date.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Sept. 16, 2 p.m., at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, with interment in the church cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, Sept. 16, noon to 2 p.m., at the church.
Members of the Hutchinson Memorial Rifle Squad will provide military honors.
