Michael Goodpaster, 67, of St. Cloud, formerly of Brownton, passed away Saturday, April 17, at his daughter’s home in Willow River.
A private family memorial service will be Saturday, May 1, at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe.
A public gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, May 1, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Roger William “Sweed” Moffatt, 69, of Glencoe, passed away Monday, April 12, 10:25 a.m., at Glencoe Regional Health in Glencoe.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.


William Eischens, 69, of Willmar

William “Bill” M. Eischens, 69 of Willmar, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 11.
Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 15, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home, 700 Becker Ave SW, Willmar. Visitation and viewing was also held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 16, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 302 Olena Ave SE in Willmar. A celebration of life was held after the funeral service at the Holiday Inn Conference Center.
Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery in Glencoe.


Janet Winn, 88, of Chaska

Janet Marilyn (Morrison) Winn, 88, of Chaska, formerly of Glencoe, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 13, at Glencoe Regional Health in Glencoe.
A private family memorial service will be at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, with interment following at the Glencoe City Cemetery in Glencoe.
Chaplain Randy Ruckdashel will be the officiating clergy.
“Amazing Grace” and “The Lord’s Prayer” will be the special music.

Leonard J. Blazinski, 89, of Hutchinson, passed away Wednesday, April 14, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held today, Wednesday, April 21, 1 p.m., at St. Anastasia Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The Rev. Paul Wolf will be the officiating clergy.
Bev Wangerin will be the organist.
Lucy Newcomb will be the song leader.
“Amazing Grace,” “Shepherd Me, O God,” “Prayer of St. Francis,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Song of Farewell” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” will be the musical selections.

James Joseph Fahey, 66, formerly of Norwood Young America, passed away Friday, April 16, at the Franklin Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Franklin.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 30, 11 a.m., at the Church of the Ascension in Norwood Young America, with interment following at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.

GLENCOE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 15, 2021
7:00 P.M.

Mayor Voss called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Olson, Lemke, Neid, and Robeck. Absent: Schrupp. Also present: City Administrator Larson, City Attorney Ostlund, Finance Director Trippel, PWDs Voigt and Schreifels and Police Chief Padilla.
Councilor Lemke motioned approval of the consent agenda, Councilor Neid seconded. Discussion resulted minutes to include questioning the $900 gutter bill. All members present voted in favor.
