Gerald “Jerry” Peterson, 80, of Glencoe passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, at Glencoe Regional Health.
A private funeral service and private family visitation were held Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, with interment following at the church cemetery.
Pastor Eric Nelson was the officiating clergy.
Lynn Mueller was the organist.
“Abide With Me,” “Amazing Grace,” “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” and “Beautiful Savior” were the congregational hymns.


Donald Thole, 86, of Glencoe

Donald F. Thole, 86, of Glencoe, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, Dec. 5, 11 a.m., at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe with interment following in the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery.
The Rev. John Hayes was the officiating clergy.
Mary Ann Thalmann was the organist.
Shari Templin was the song leader. “Be Not Afraid,” “Prayer of St. Francis,” “Here I Am Lord,” “Song of Farewell” and “Amazing Grace” were the musical selections.
Donald’s grandchildren were the casket-bearers.


Anthony Posusta Jr., 91 of Silver Lake

Anthony "Tony" Posusta Jr., 91 of Silver Lake, passed away Nov. 30, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe.
Visitation began at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. A memorial Mass of Christian burial followed at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake with inurnment at Holy Family Cemetery after the Mass. The Rev. John Hayes officiated.


Kathryn Young, 64, of Lester Prairie

Kathryn “Kathy” Lynn (Zellmann) Young, 64, of Lester Prairie, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
A private family memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 5, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. A public graveside service will be held in the spring.
Pastor Aaron Holmgren was the officiating clergy.
“Little Drummer Boy,” “Silent Night,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Angels Among Us” by Alabama were the special music.
“On Eagle’s Wings” and “Just As I Am” were the congregational hymns.

David L. Elder, 74, of Hutchinson, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Woodstone Senior Living in Hutchinson.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with interment at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Pastor Steve Olcott was the officiating clergy.
Bonnie Westmiller was the organist.
“Borning Cry,” “Amazing Grace,” “Lead On, O King Eternal” and “In The Garden” were the congregational hymns.
Derek Hammer, Evan Hammer, Lorelei Elder and Jack Elder were the urn-bearers.

Harold A. Kiecker, 77, of Lake Lillian, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A graveside funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 7, 2 p.m., at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Cosmos.
Pastor Vicki Toutges was the officiating clergy.
“Daddy’s Hands” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain” were the special music.
Antique tractor puller friends were the honorary casket-bearers.
Brian Bakken, Ross Bakken, Duwayne Kiecker, Marlo Macik, Maynard Carlson and Ron DeZeeuw were the casket-bearers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 9, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with prayers at 1:15 p.m., at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 Seventh Ave. E., North St. Paul. A private family interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be held.
