He’ll gladly wait for results of election done right

Attempts at normalcy – Our view: Successful or not, they're worth the effort

The coronavirus pandemic has impacted everyday life in too many ways to count. It has robbed from us a sense of normalcy from everyday life.
We are all well aware of the impacts the loss of normality has created. From the impacts on people’s psyche to the economic impact of the pandemic, COVID-19 has undeniably taken normalcy from us.
There are efforts, however informal, to restore that sense of normalcy. From attending a high school football game, in-person shopping while wearing a mask and social distancing to patronizing a local restaurant, small steps at returning normalcy matter.

It’s past time to condemn these anonymous letters

The election season ended just in time because I feared I was getting “muter’s-thumbs.” You know, it’s an ailment developed by muting the endless political campaign commercials with the TV remote.
It seems for every two minutes of news or entertainment, there were two or more minutes of endless political ads. Two minutes of volume, followed by minutes of dead silence (muting).
Aggravation is a kind word after the weeks and months of this year’s candidate-bashing barrage. The mute logo on my remote control has worn off.
