Persons owning or occupying real estate adjoining a Township road are required to cut weeds and grass growing in the Township road ditches adjacent to their property by October 10, 2019. Ditches to be cut as to prevent snow from piling on Township roads. This also refers to trees, rocks, brush and the like on road right of way. Do not place cut weeds and grass on road surface as this causes problems when grading roads.

Mayor Wilson called the regular meeting of the city council to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Neid, Schrupp, Robeck, Lemke. Member Alexander was absent. Also present: City Administrator Larson, City Attorney Ostlund, Finance Director Trippel, Assistant City Administrator Ehrke, PWDs Voigt and Schreifels and Police Chief Raiter.
Motion to approve consent agenda as presented entered by Councilor Neid and second by Councilor Schrupp. All members present voted in favor.

Leif Garnass, an associate with SFR Consulting, the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s consultant on the Highway 212/22 planning, chatted with Charlie Lemke and other residents Monday evening at Glencoe City Center after presenting proposals for safety improvements along Highway 212. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is considering safety improvements at intersections along Highway 212.
