On a unanimous vote Monday, April 15, Glencoe City Council authorized a fund-raising effort to help pay for proposed renovations to existing restrooms in the west wing of the main floor of the Glencoe City Center. The project cost is estimated at about $132,000.
Assistant City Administrator Dan Ehrke said private donations currently amount to $26,190, the city’s contribution could be up to $50,000 and the Hoese Foundation has offered a matching grant up to $25,000. That leaves another $30,810 yet to be raised.
