A rural Arlington man was killed by a falling tree Tuesday, May 24, at about 6:40 p.m., according to the Sibley County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said Martin Ziesmer, 62, was attempting to herd cattle from a pasture with a four-wheeler because of the stormy weather when the tree fell on him. Rescue workers found him under the tree, and he was pronounced dead at the scene....

Samantha and Alex Jung of Glencoe announce the birth of their son, Spencer Michael Jung, born May 17, 2016, at Glencoe Regional Health Services.
