3 arrested in narcotics search in New Auburn

Three people were arrested after the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotics search warrant Tuesday, April 25, in the 9100 block of Ninth Avenue in the city of New Auburn.
Those arrested were Alexander James Emmings, 26, of New Auburn, Carrie Lee Dimaggio, 24, of New Auburn, and Xavier Richard Jamieson, 23, of High Bridge, Wisconsin.
Emmings has been charged with four counts of felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, felony unlawful possession of ammunition, misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needles and misdemeanor possession of legend drugs. He also was charged with felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault, both of which stemmed from a separate investigation.
Dimaggio has been charged with two counts of felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, two counts of gross misdemeanor fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needles, and misdemeanor possession of legend drugs.
Jamieson has been charged with gross misdemeanor fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies found numerous controlled substances, including prescription pills, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles during the search.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Gaylord Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
