3 questions for council candidate

To the Editor:
By now, we should all be aware that our city, in 2015, is entering into a major reconstruction to our streets, water lines, sewer lines, sidewalks, storm sewers and walking paths. This could be an ongoing project.
Homeowners are located in the multi-million dollar project. It will cause a massive financial hardship. Some may need to file for bankruptcy.
Questions for our present councilor-at-large:
1. Does she understand or is she knowledgeable about how our waste treatment plant functions? You need to ask her.
2. Does she understand or is she knowledgeable about knowing where, why and how our underground sewer and water lines function? You need to ask her.
3. Does she understand or is she knowledgeable about how our water treatment plant functions? You need to ask her.
Allen Robeck is a retired water and wastewater person. He has filed for councilor-at-large. Mr. Robeck knows our water and wastewater system below and above. He has 40-plus years of experience. Allen is able to say yes to all three questions.
As we’re entering into a multi-million dollar project, there will always be change orders. Change orders don’t come cheap. If elected, Mr. Robeck knows our system and will be a great help and save money. Allen also knows how to say the word “no.”
Remember, the whole city gets to vote for the councilor-at-large. Please give Allen your vote and encourage your neighbors to do the same.
