9th-annual Blizzard Blast set for Jan. 30

Blizzard Blast, the annual fundraiser for Allina Health Hospice Foundation, is set for Friday, Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m., at the Glencoe City Center, 1107 11th St. E, Glencoe.
This will be the ninth year of the event.
Tickets are $30 per person, and include dinner (catered by Chef Craig) and live music by Rhinestone.
The fundraiser also includes live and silent auctions and a raffle.
Live auction items include a one-week stay at a  condo in Fort Meyers Beach, Fla., donated by William Mueller & Sons of Hamburg; an airplane ride for up to five passengers from the Glencoe Airport (donated by Mike Gavin) for 30 minutes, which will take the winners to the Eden Prairie Airport, where they will be picked up by a limousine (donated by Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel of Glencoe), and taken to Salut Restaurant in St. Paul for dinner ($200 of the tab will be picked up by Travis Oltmann of Maple Grove), followed by a return trip to Glencoe via limo; a two-hour horse and covered wagon ride through a woods near Arlington (donated by Rich Mueller of Arlington), follow by a meal ($100 gift certificate) donated by the Arlington Haus and Lona Oltmann; and a queen-size quilt donated by Sherri Stamps, Glencoe, and Quilting Between Friends, Brownton.
Dr. John Bergseng will be the emcee for the evening, and Rianne Matthews will be the guest speaker.
Tickets are available at Glencoe Regional Health Services, Glencoe Chamber of Commerce, Coborn’s in Glencoe, Care Connection Thrift Shop in Glencoe, Hutchinson Health, Cash Wise Foods in Hutchinson and Allina Health Care Services in Hutchinson.
