Alice M. Friauf, 79, of Glencoe
Alice M. Friauf, 78, of Glencoe, formerly of Hutchinson, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 19, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Casket bearers were Dale Horton, Craig Thran, Jeff and Russ Duenow, and Justin and Jeremy VonBerge.
Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Alice Friauf was born July 7, 1938, in Hutchinson, the daughter of George and Agnes (Schroeder) Baseman.
On April 8, 1967, Alice M. Baseman and Thomas V. Friauf were joined in holy marriage in Watertown, South Dakota.
Mrs. Friauf enjoyed bingo, sewing, shopping, flowers and especially loved having the grandchildren over.
She is survived by her children, Russell (Vicky) Duenow, Jeff Duenow, Pam VonBerge (David Popelka), Terry (Marilyn) Duenow, Tracy (Dale) Horton, Wayne (Teri) Friauf and Holly Setter (Dennis Getz); 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Ray) Youngkrantz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don (Marlys) Friauf; sisters-in-law, Joyce Frey and Beverly Baseman; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom on March 18, 2014; parents, George and Agnes Baseman; daughter, Theresa Duenow; grandson, Cody Setter; brother, Dale Baseman; and sister-in-law, Arlene Lewin.
