Brownton All-School Reunion organizers hope for memories, reuinification

Organizers of the Brownton All-School Reunion hope the get-together — scheduled on Saturday evening of the Brownton Days celebration — is a comprehensive caravan into the collective memory banks of Brownton High School (BHS) graduates.
Much of the conversation in the Brownton Civic Center’s gymnasium on Saturday, which used to be where Brownton Bears practiced, may begin with ‘Remember when…’ At least that’s what Keith and Jane Tongen, who live on the property of the conspicuous pink barn in Brownton, hope it will be. The two graduated from BHS in 1976, exemplifying the definition of high school sweethearts.
The Tongens are helping organize the reunion along with fellow Browntonites Dale and Joan Ewald, Brian and Elaine Schuette, Steven and Linell Loncorich, Bruce and Jackie Rosenow, Jim and Konnie Bartels and Tim and Julie Olson.
