Brownton woman hurt in 2-vehicle crash

A Brownton woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 22 near 150th Street on Friday, Nov. 11.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Kaitlyn Knick, 23, of Brownton, was southbound on Highway 22 in a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix at about 8:30 a.m. and had slowed to turn onto 150th Street when her vehicle was rear-ended by a 2006 Dodge Caravan, driven by Bobbi Jo Luckhardt, 37, of Hutchinson.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Knick was taken by ambulance to the Hutchinson Health Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and released. Luckhardt was not injured.
The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the accident.
