Christian Deer Hunters Association Big Little Hunting & Fishing Expo drew large crowds

The Christian Deer Hunters Association hosted the 2019 Big Little Hunting & Fishing Expo Saturday, March 16 at the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. The event facilitated archery, fishing, casting contests, how-tos, exhibitors and more. In the top picture, Dylan Namken (orange) and his cousin Marshall Martig learn about the lure making process, and how much time it can take to perfect just one lure. Tom Rakow holds the microphone for Deputy Sheriff Pat Geiken while McLeod County Sheriff Scott Rehmann cooks with a small shovel. On the far right is the incoming Hutchinson Chief of Police Tom Gifferson. They were invited to cook unique kinds of meat in front of a crowd at the expo for comical amusement.
