Commissioners Nagel, Wright, Pohlmeier, Krueger and Shimanski were present.
Krueger/Pohlmeier motion carried unanimously to approve the agenda.
Wright/Krueger motion approved the consent agenda including January 16, 2018 Meeting Minutes and Synopsis; January 16, 2018 Meeting Minutes and Synopsis; January 16, 2018 Meeting Minutes and Synopsis; January 12, 2018 Auditor's Warrants; January 19, 2018 Auditor's Warrants; ; January 26, 2018 Auditor's Warrants; Approve payment of annual membership fee of $18,325.50 from McLeod County Public Health to Pact for Families Children’s Mental Health and Family Collaborative; Approve upgrade in license to Liquor, Wine, Club or 3.2% On Sale and Sunday Sale Licenses for Shadowbrooke Golf Course, Inc. in Lester Prairie, MN from February 19, 2018 through December 31, 2018; Approve fire abatement of $977.16. Fire occurred on 2/2/2017 and the owners moved back in 11/30/2017; Approve Confession of Judgment for Matthew A. and Staci L. Butler for Property ID 01.015.0900 in the Township of Acoma; Approve Confession of Judgment for Sheila Burns for Property ID 11.016.0700 in the Township of Rich Valley; Approve contract with the City of Brownton for lease of a mobile computer. 4 year contract will total $6,579.16 which covers the cost of the computer and air cards.

Shimanski/Pohlmeier motion carried unanimously to adopt Resolution 18-CB-09 by the McLeod County Board of Commissioner, support for state capital investments for regional behavioral health crisis program facilities and permanent supportive housing for people with behavioral health needs.
Shimanski/Krueger motion carried unanimously to approve a letter of support Mid-Minnesota Development Commission's (MMDC) application for the Organizational Planning Grant funds to develop a Regional Transportation Coordinating Council.
Wright/Pohlmeier motion carried unanimously to approve proposal from Surdex Corporation (Chesterfield, MO) for lidar acquisition and related services for a total not to exceed $82,500 with funding coming from the Recorders Compliance Fund.
Nagel/Wright motion carried unanimously to approve quote from
Juul Contracting Company (Hutchinson, MN) for $6,569 for the demolition of the fairgrounds pavilion with funding coming from special revenue fund.
Wright/Pohlmeier motion carried unanimously to approve the purchase of a 2018 Ford F-250 crew cab pickup for $29,926.84 (State Contract) plus applicable tax/license from Midway Ford (Roseville, MN) with funding coming from the Highway 2018 capital budget.
Krueger/Wright motion carried unanimously to approve the purchase of a 2018 Kuhn mower from Arnolds (Glencoe, MN) for a cost including trade in of $7,300 with funding coming from the Highway 2018 capital budget.
Krueger/Shimanski motion carried unanimously to approve quote for CD #8 Project #114 from Reinert Logging & Lumber (Glencoe, MN) to remove trees and treat stumps at a cost of $16,700.
Krueger/Shimanski motion carried unanimously to approve quote for CD #8 Project #115 from Reinert Logging & Lumber (Glencoe, MN) to remove big cottonwood tree at a cost of $500.
Nagel/Pohlmeier motion carried unanimously to approve quote for CD #19a Project 2018-001 from Wuetherich Excavating (Norwood Young America) to remove trees, channel cleanout and washout repair at a cost of $17,705.
Shimanski/Nagel motion carried unanimously to approve $140 rent per acre for 7.89 tillable acres in Hutchinson Township Parcel Number 08.036.0300 Section 36, Township 117, Range 29, Legal Description; W 10 ac of N 30 AC of NE ¼ NE ¼ to Barry Barton 19272 Lace Ave, Hutchinson, MN effective Crop Year 2018 with rent due October 31, 2018.
Krueger/Shimanski motion carried unanimously to accept Voting Equipment Grant Agreement between McLeod County and State of Minnesota of $52,024.40 which requires a minimum match of $36,483.85.
Shimanski/Krueger motion carried unanimously to approve re-determination of drainage benefits and damages on County Ditch No. 8.
Shimanski/Wright motion carried unanimously to appoint Ditch Viewers to re-determine benefits and damages on CD #8 to include Ron Ringquist of Redwood Falls, John Dotolo of Scandia, Brad Wick of Hutchinson and Allen Kerber of Arlington, who have all worked as Ditch Viewers in McLeod County.
