Wastewater and Water Systems Improvements
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Wastewater and Water Systems Improvements will be received, by City of Brownton, at the office of the City Clerk, City of Brownton, 335 3rd Street South, Brownton, MN 55312, until 10:00 a.m. local time on June 26, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The opening and reading of the Bids may be modified subject to COVID-19 preventative measures. The proposed improvements generally consist of lift station improvements, well improvements, and wastewater treatment facility improvements. Funded partially by Rural Development.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Short Elliot Hendrickson Inc., 1390 Hwy 15 S., Suite 200, Hutchinson, MN 55350, 320.587.7341. Project Manger Jessica Hedin, 320.229.4369, jhedin@sehinc.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the City Clerk, City of Brownton, 335 3rd Street South, Brownton, MN 55312 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than indicated above.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with the State of Minnesota.
Bids shall be directed to the City Clerk and titled “BID FOR WASTEWATER AND WATER SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENTS.”
