Columnist to speak at Christ Lutheran women’s gathering
“All is Grace,” Christ Lutheran Women’s third annual fall gathering, is Saturday, Nov. 4, at Christ Lutheran Church.
The keynote address will be given by Lenae Bulthuis, who will speak on the topic of God’s grace freely given. Bulthuis writes a weekly column, The Back Porch, a musing about faith, family and farming from the back porch of her farm in west central Minnesota. For the past 18 years, she has been sharing what’s in her heart and encouraging readers to be inspired in their own lives. For her own inspiration and writing she turns to God’s work and prayer. In addition to writing her column, and speaking, she works with GEMS Girls’ Clubs, Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior, an international ministry for girls and women with over 900 clubs around the world.
Registration and treats start at 8:30 a.m.; the program begins at 9 a.m.; and lunch will be served at noon. There is a cost to attend. Tickets can be purchased at the Christ Lutheran Church office, or by calling 320 864-6121.
