Commissioners, foundation need to consider small towns, also
To the Editor:
I read with interest the article in last week’s Chronicle (Oct. 7) that the county commissioners want to use county property under the umbrella of Southwest Initiative Foundation to promote the city of Glencoe. I would hope that the commissioners and Southwest Initiative Foundation would spend more time and money promoting the small cities in McLeod County that are struggling to keep their cities operating.
I would remind the Commissioners to remember that they were elected to serve all the citizens of McLeod County and not just Hutchinson and Glencoe.
