Common Cup Ministry collecting school supplies

Common Cup Ministry will again be supplying school supplies to children in need for the coming school year.
Last year, approximately 500 children in McLeod County applied for, and received, supplies and a backpack. Common Cup relies on donations for the needed supplies or dollars to make this happen.
Organizations, church groups, clubs, families, and individuals are encouraged to donate. All donations are appreciated. Supply lists are available online at  common
cupmn@gmail.com, or Common Cup Thrift Store, Glencoe. Donations of supplies can be dropped off at First Lutheran Church, Christ Lutheran Church and First Congregational Church, all of Glencoe, as well as the Common Cup Thrift Store, Glencoe, and McLeod County Social Services. If you need your supplies picked up, or for any other questions call 320-510-1593. Donations will be taken through Aug. 21.
Distribution of supplies is Aug. 17, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Aug. 18, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Helen Baker School gym, Glencoe.
Application forms to register children to receive supplies are available from all Glencoe School offices, Common Cup Ministries, Common Cup Thrift Store, McLeod County Social Services and area church offices. Applications must be be returned by Aug. 5 to Common Cup Ministries, address on form.
