Correction on candidacy filing information

The Chronicle erred in Wednesday's issue when it reported that the term of Plato Mayor Bob Becker is up for election this year. It is not. Up for election in Plato are council seats currently held by Dennis Oltmann and Robert Pflipsen. Filings for candidacy close Tuesday, Aug. 16.
