Delores Haus, 91, of Arlington

Delores Haus, 91, of Arlington, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 3, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from noon until the time of the service.
Delores Haus was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Fairfax, to Herman and Frieda (Habeck) Kiecker. She was baptized Aug. 30, 1924, and confirmed on May 14, 1939, at Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellington Township. She attended country school.
She married Dwane K. Haus on Oct. 23, 1944, at Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Fairfax. She was a homemaker on their rural Arlington farm and also worked for over 40 years at the bakery in Arlington. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed fishing, baking, gardening, sewing and visiting her many friends, and especially her time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her children, Don (Elaine) Haus of Glencoe, Tom (Peggy) Haus of Aurora, Colorado, Jeanette (Dennis) Schrupp of Mayer and Renea (Dale) Lindquist of Hamburg; seven grandchildren, Tonya (Chad) Christensen, Scott and Samantha Haus, Cherie (Christopher) Orr, Michael (Sheri) Schrupp, Michelle Schlueter and Schawn (Shelly) Lindquist; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Delford (Agnes) Kiecker of Fairfax and Dorothy (Kenneth) Wendlandt of Hutchinson; and siblings-in-law, Sophie Kiecker of Fairfax, June (Ralph) Schroeder of Gibbon and Charles Haus of Arlington, many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwane; great-grandson, Ethan Orr; and siblings, Lorraine (Clifford) Buboltz, Elmer Kiecker, Marian (Jerald) Wendlandt, Paul (Dorothy) Haus and Mellie (Don) Senkyr.
Arrangements were with the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington.
