Don Parpart benefit

A benefit for Don Parpart, who was diagnosed in September 2016 with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer, is set for Saturday, Jan. 21, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Lester Prairie City Hall. A meal of pulled pork sandwiches, potato chips, baked beans and dessert will be offered for a free-will offering. There also will be hourly prize drawings, a silent auction, bake sale, games and live music.
