Dragons drop boys' hoopsters
The Glencoe-Silver Lake boys’ basketball team opened Wright County Conference West play with a 60-35 loss at Litchfield on Friday, Jan. 12. The loss dropped the Panthers to 5-6 overall.
The 35 points scored by GSL was the slightest offensive output for the Panthers this season, six points lower than in a 60-41 loss at Jordan on Jan. 2. Individual scoring stats were not available.
After spending its first three games of 2018 on the road, GSL returned home for a WCC West matchup on Tuesday, Jan. 16, after the Chronicle went to press.
The Panthers return to the road for a conference matchup at Annandale on Friday and a sectional contest at Norwood-Young America on Saturday. GSL is back at home for a WCC West tilt against Mound Westonka next Tuesday night.
