Eleanor Erna Kaminsky, 92, of Hutchinson, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson. 
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 22, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with the Rev. Gerhard Bode officiating. 
The organist was Joan DeVee Dixon. Congregational hymns were “In the Garden” and “How Great Thou Art.” 
Casket bearers were Keith Klawitter, Kevin Klawitter, Karen Sampson, Kent Klawitter, Kay Haag, Kurt Klawitter and Jamie Binder.
Eleanor Erna Kaminsky was born on April 14, 1923, in Hutchinson. She was the daughter of Herman and Ida (Polchow) Klawitter. She was baptized as an infant and was confirmed in her faith as a youth at Zion Lutheran Church in Lynn Township, McLeod County. She received her education at Country School in West Lynn in Lynn Township.
On April 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to Leonard Kaminsky at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Parish in Silver Lake. They resided in Silver Lake and Hutchinson and shared 64 years of marriage.
Ms. Kaminsky was self-employed as a hairdresser. She retired in 1958. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. 
She enjoyed playing cards, baking, making kolaches and tending to her flower gardens. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, she became a resident of Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson on March 31, 2009. 
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Kaminsky of Hutchinson; sisters-in-law, Jolene Klawitter of Hector, Beverly Tenneson of Fergus Falls and Margaret Wozniak of St. Louis Park; brother-in-law, Jerome (Annette) Kaminsky of Hutchinson; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ida Klawitter; brothers, Oliver Klawitter, Ronald Klawitter and Aaron Klawitter; sisters, Esther (Walter) Harms, Gertrude (Merril) Krook and Mildred (Donald) Vehanen.
