Family research series resumes at libraries

The McLeod County Historical Society and Pioneerland Library System will resume their family history research series this fall.
The 2017 series focuses on advanced family history research programs, including ways to write and publish family history, how to join historical societies, and how to prepare for an overseas research trip.
The series will be offered at the Brownton Public Library on Mondays, Sept. 11, 18 and 25, at 7 p.m.; at the historical museum in Hutchinson on Thursdays, Sept. 7, 14 and 21, at 7 p.m.; the Winsted Public Library on Mondays, Oct. 2, 9 and 16, 7 p.m.; and at the Glencoe Public Library on Thursdays, Oct. 5, 12 and 19, 7 p.m.
