Girls' soccer nets second win
The Glencoe-Silver Lake girls’ soccer team opened the regular season with a tie and a win. On Thursday, Oct. 8, after two more ties and nine losses, the Panthers were finally able to celebrate win No. 2.

The Panthers claimed the 11th seed out of 15 teams and played at No. 6 Mankato Loyola Tuesday afternoon after the Chronicle went to press. Loyola finished the regular season with a 7-5-1 record.
