Glencoe City Council meets Monday
Glencoe City Council will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, in the council chambers at the Glencoe City Center.
On the agenda is the third and final reading of the "snowbird" ordinance amendment, awarding of bids for the Buffalo Highlands trail paving project; an update on the legislative appeal of the state solid waste statute that will impact the Spruce Ridge landfill and the city of Glencoe's methane-to-electricity program; the resignation of Terry Buska as street superintendent; an update on a grant application for a campground at Oak Leaf Park; and an update of the lease agreement with USDA to relocate offices in the City Center.
Also on the agenda is an opening on the airport commission and closing of the meeting to discuss negotiation strategy over a new police federation contract.
The meeting is open to the public and televised live on the local cable TV access channel.
