Glencoe Public Library to premiere historical video Sunday, Jan. 31

The Glencoe Public Library will show the video release premier of “Native American Legends & Beliefs” from the McLeod County history series, “Bringing Books to Life.”
The premier is Sunday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m., in the Glencoe Library Activity Room. The elevator will open at 1:30 p.m.
This is a free event to premier the DVD collection of the history presentations in the “Bringing Books to Life” series funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Library Legacy Fund. Lori Pickell-Stangel, McLeod County Historical  Museum director, tells the history of the Native Americans of McLeod County through books housed in the four McLeod County public libraries and artifacts from the McLeod County Museum.
