GSL boys planning up-tempo offensive attack on hardwood

With nothing but returnees this year, Glencoe-Silver Lake High School coach Robb DeCorsey is able to dispense with the early-season introductions to how the Panthers will approach the season.
Monday, Jan. 4, GSL opened practice with a spirited scrimmage rather than the usual get-to-know-you drills. It’s a sign of the pedal-to-the-metal pace he hopes the Panthers can take on in their opener tomorrow night, Jan. 14, 7 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic in Victoria. Tuesday, Jan. 19, GSL will host Central (NYA) at 7 p.m.
“Monday was a little ugly, but we did some really good things after that,” DeCorsey said. “It gave us a good starting point.”
