GSL participates in summer food program

The Glencoe-Silver Lake School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program and invites children to have a free meal. Meals will be provided to all children birth to 18 without charge and meet nutritional standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
In addition to offering free meals to any child birth to 18, the school district is offering numerous summer activities including Targeted Services Summer School, Extended School Year Summer School, enrichment classes and camps through Community Education, Migrant Summer School, and the Panther Adventure Club (PAC). Helen Baker Elementary School
405 E 16th St., Glencoe
June 12-July 27 (Closed July 4)
Lunch noon to 12:30 p.m.

GSL Lakeside Elementary School
229 Lake Ave., Silver Lake
June 12-July 27 (Closed July 4)
Breakfast 7:30 a.m.  to 8  a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Breakfast (at Lakeside only) and lunch are available Monday through Thursday. Breakfast and lunch will not be available on Fridays.
