GSL ready to welcome students back for new year
After years of work on buildings and now parking lots at the Glencoe-Silver Lake School District’s facilities, the district is ready to start the 2019-2020 school year with a renewed focus on improving the education it offers students.
This summer, the Glencoe-Silver Lake School Board approved a change in the start times at the district’s elementary schools, its junior and senior high grades. It will adjust Lincoln Elementary School’s schedule from 8 a.m. - 2:55 p.m. to 8:15 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. The schedule at Lakeside Elementary School will change from 8:05 a.m.- 2:45 p.m. to 8:10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The schedule at the junior-senior high school will be adjusted from 7:55 a.m.- 3:10 p.m. to 8:12 a.m. - 3:20 p.m.
