SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT #2859
PLACE: GSL Schools Community Room #443/444
DATE: February 11, 2019
TIME: 7:00 p.m.

Board Chair Alsleben called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The following board members were present: Alsleben, Kuester, Lindeman, VonBerge, Lemke and Luckhardt.
The Board approved the consent agenda with addendum. Hirings: Matt Foss: Student Council, Shane McConkey: Jr High Golf Coach, Alysha Richey: Jr High Track Coach, Matt Foss & Dan Svoboda: Co-Head Super Mileage and Donna Hammers: Assistant Business Manager. Resignations: Kristal Wendt and Carrie Schoon. FMLA requests for two employees.
The Board approved the following: Revision of the 2019-2020 School Calendar, Adoption of the 2020-2021 School Calendar, Moving the April School Board Meeting to April 15th, and Amending the 2018-2019 School Calendar.
The Board will bring back the following policies for adoption at the next School Board meeting: 407, 408, 409, 414, 421, 422, 423, 424, 430 and 435.
The following donations were accepted with appreciation: Crow River Sno Pro’s donated $1,000.00 to the Trap Team and McLeod County Corn & Soybean donated $200.00 to Super Mileage.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
