GSL squads gearing up for spring season
With fingers crossed that there will be no nasty late April snowstorms decending on the region, sports squads from Glencoe-Silver Lake are gearing up for the upcoming sprint that is the spring season.
All GSL varsity teams, other than the trap/skeet squad, are now into their second or third week of practices.
Track and field, baseball and softball have all been practicing away since March 11; the girls’ and boys’ golf teams joined in on official practices March 18.
The Panther softball team made a trek north to St. Cloud State University for a day of scrimmages under the Teflon sky of the Husky Dome on Saturday, March 16.
