Halloween party

The Brownton Lions Club will host its annual youth Halloween party Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Brownton Community Center.
The event is open to all children in sixth grade or younger. There is an entrance fee of $3 per child, with a maximum of $10 per family. All proceeds are donated to the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf.
The Lions Club also will be collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids that evening to be donated to Lions International.
