Harry Drahos, 87, of Excelsior

Harry Drahos, 97, of Excelsior, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, surrounded by his family.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, June 29, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale, with interment in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
 
Mr. Drahos’ family was a very important part of his life. He also was proud of his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and his 40 years with the United States Post Office.
 
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Christine; children, Greg (Pat) Drahos, Cookie (Rick) Dumas and Cheri (Jim) Dixon; grandchildren, Kristy (Ricky), Kim (Troy), Matt (Amanda), James (Erica), Harry and Andy; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Gloria Ruzicka and Emma Drahos.
 
Arrangements were with the Wulff-Woodbury Funeral Home in Woodbury.
