Highway 22 detour set for Armstrong project

The city of Glencoe will start its Armstrong Avenue project Monday, April 17. New utilities such as sewer and water are being installed, which will necessitate the rebuilding of Armstrong Avenue. Highway 22 will be closed between the intersections of Highway22-McLeod County Road 3 to the intersection of Highway 22-McLeod County Road 2.
Highway 22 will close Monday, April 17, at 7 a.m.
The detour (going south) will take motorists on McLeod County Road 3 for approximately 1.75 miles to McLeod County Road 2 for approximately 1.5 miles to Highway 22. Only legal width and weight vehicles are permitted. McLeod County Road 2 is posted at 5 tons for spring road restrictions.
