It’s OK to disagree, but be respectful about it
To the Editor:
I write this letter because of the great disappointment I have in my councilor at large, Mr. Allen Robeck, and the disrespect he showed to constituents and city staff.
I could not believe that a councilor would use the sarcasm, innuendos, and blatant snide remarks towards city staff and constituents who might have a different viewpoint than his. We need to treat people with respect when we disagree with their positions. It is fine to disagree and have discussion about issues, but I expect our elected officials to act with respect and decorum when representing the city of Glencoe and their constituents!
