Kathleen Irene Lemoine, 65, Glencoe

Kathleen Irene (Blood) Lemoine, 65, of Glencoe, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care.
A private family burial was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
 
Kathleen Irene (Blood) Lemoine was born Sept. 21, 1950, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Tersko) Blood. She was baptized as an infant and was confirmed in her faith as a youth. She was educated in Mound, graduating from Mound High School.
 
She was united in marriage to Tesker Peter Lemoine. She made her home in Mound, New Orleans, Louisiana, for 25 years, and in Glencoe for the past 10 years. She worked at Tonka Toys in Mound, was a cashier at various businesses, and worked at Toro in Mound. She enjoyed reading and especially her cat, Tuffy. She cherished the time spent with family and friends.
 
She is survived by her brothers, Charles (Bobbie) Blood of Hutchinson and Robert (Sue) Blood of Minneapolis; cat, Tuffy; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Margaret Blood; husband, Tesker Lemoine; and sister, Evelyn Stratta.
Memorials are requested to be sent to Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter, Hutchinson Chapter, P.O. Box 175, 880 Century Ave. SW, Hutchinson MN 55350.
 
The family made arrangements with the McBride Funeral Home in Glencoe
